BILLY CORGAN Gets Into Scrap With THE USED Frontman

December 14, 2002

The following item was posted on Siva, the unofficial SMASHING PUMPKINS and ZWAN web site:

"At the KROQ Almost Acoustic Xmas event, Bert, the lead singer from the emo band THE USED asked to crowd to throw trash at him, to gain attention and ruin the stage for ZWAN, who was coming on next (There's also lot of bad blood between Corgan and Bert's girlfriend, Kelly Osbourne, who dissed ZWAN on MTV, and her mom, Sharon [who briefly managed SMASHING PUMPKINS]). As Bert was coming off stage, he tried to trip Billy, and Corgan responded by kicking him in the stomach! Their managers and posses got involved and had to be separated!"
